Resources

Something that is a part of living a Lifelong Learner Lifestyle is helping others with tools and resources. Below is a list of the tools and resources I use and also the ones I recommend. You’ll realise that most of them are free, and you can upgrade to the pro versions. There are also links to useful websites, apps, and books I think would be of tremendous help to you. Some of the tools and resources I use are still missing from this list, but I’ll add them as the site continues to grow.

This list contains affiliate links. When you click and purchase from any of the affiliate links, I get a commission at no extra cost to you.

Building A Website

my tools, resources & recommendations

WordPress.org

Thinking of starting a blog, an online business or just a good old plain website? WordPress.org is the starting point of all that is blogging freedom. It's free to use and easy to get started. For the record, most successful bloggers use WordPress.

Elementor

First and foremost, I used Elementor to build this page and more on this website. In my opinion, it's the best free theme builder out there (you can also upgrade to Elementor Pro). It's awash with free and pro templates to get you going.

Kadence WP

I've tried a few free themes in the past, and I'm yet to come across one that surpasses the Kadence theme. It's totally customisable and easy to master. If you get stuck, there's lots of help online, especially on YouTube.

Hostinger

You need a good hosting company to succeed in online business or just blogging. Hostinger caught my eye, great tools and reliability. Competitive prices and excellent customer services. I also recommend Bluehost.

WPForms

You'll definitely need this plugin to make contact forms. It's simple to use and can be integrated with Mailchimp. It comes free, which is great, but the premium version is even greater. This was one of the first plugins I installed on my website.

MailChimp
