A core principle of the Lifelong Learner Lifestyle is sharing knowledge and providing practical tools that help others grow. Below, you’ll find a curated list of the tools and resources I personally use and recommend.
Most of these platforms offer free versions, allowing you to get started without commitment, with optional upgrades available for more advanced features. You’ll also find links to valuable websites, apps, and books that I believe can significantly support your personal and professional development.
This list will continue to evolve. As I discover and test new resources, I’ll update this page to ensure it remains relevant and useful.
Some of the links on this page are affiliate links. If you choose to purchase through these links, I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. I only recommend tools and resources that I genuinely use or believe will provide meaningful value. Thank you for your support!
Building A Website
my tools, resources & recommendations
WordPress.org
Thinking of starting a blog, an online business or just a good old plain website? WordPress.org is the starting point of all that is blogging freedom. It's free to use and easy to get started. For the record, most successful bloggers use WordPress.
Elementor
First and foremost, I used Elementor to build this page and more on this website. In my opinion, it's the best free theme builder out there (you can also upgrade to Elementor Pro). It's awash with free and pro templates to get you going.
Kadence WP
I've tried a few free themes in the past, and I'm yet to come across one that surpasses the Kadence theme. It's totally customisable and easy to master. If you get stuck, there's lots of help online, especially on YouTube.
Hostinger
You need a good hosting company to succeed in online business or just blogging. Hostinger caught my eye, great tools and reliability. Competitive prices and excellent customer services. I also recommend Bluehost.
WPForms
You'll definitely need this plugin to make contact forms. It's simple to use and can be integrated with Mailchimp. It comes free, which is great, but the premium version is even greater. This was one of the first plugins I installed on my website.
MailChimp
MailChimp has been in the email marketing game for a while. They're reliable and definitely affordable. You can grow your email list and your blog or online business easily with MailChimp. That's why I use and recommend them.
